The 1940s
The Chicago Bears won four championships during the 1940s. However, the more remarkable feat was losing only four times in their 21-game series against the Packers.
The 1950s
The Bears were still the dominant group during this decade. They lost to Green Bay only five times in their 20 matchups. The highest score in the Packer-Bears rivalry happened on November 6, 1955. Both NFL teams had a combined score of 83 points.
The 1960s
The 1960s belonged to Green Bay. In this decade, the Packers won three championships and two Super Bowls. They also lost to Chicago only five times in their 20-game series.
The 1970s
The Bears drafted running back Walter Payton in the first round of the 1975 NFL Draft. Payton immediately made an impact. With his help, the Bears only lost twice to the Packers between 1975 and 1979.
The 1980s
The Chicago Bears won the Super Bowl XX championship. They also won eight consecutive games against Green Bay between 1985 and 1988.
The 1990s
The Green Bay Packers had Brett Favre as their quarterback. The promising QB led the Packers to their ten-game winning streak during the 1994 NFL season. Green Bay also won Super Bowl XXXI against the New England Patriots on January 26, 1997.
The 2000s
The Packers constantly beat Chicago in the first half of the decade. Still, it was the Bears who advanced to Super Bowl XLI. Unfortunately, they lost to the Indianapolis Colts in February 2007.
The 2010s
The Packers won Super Bowl XLV on February 6, 2011. They also appeared in several conference and division title games. On the contrary, the Bears had four different head coaches during this decade. Chicago also won only four times out of their 21 matchups against Green Bay.

On December 16, 2018, Chicago sacked Green Bay’s quarterback Aaron Rodgers five times. The Bears made their way to clinch the NFC North title for the first time in eight years.

Green Bay’s three-time MVP Aaron Rodgers showed his ability to lead the best offense in the 2020 NFL season. The Packers defeated the Chicago Bears 35-16 in Week 17 at Soldier Field.
Although offensive tackle David Bakhtiari didn’t play due to a knee injury, the Packers clinched the top seed in the NFC playoffs. Their standings improved to 13-3, and they also secured a home-field advantage.

Aside from Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay’s Davante Adams also cemented his 2020 campaign as one of the best receivers in the league.
Adams surpassed his team’s mark for reception in a single season (113). He also became the fifth wide receiver in NFL history with 18 touchdown catches.
Adams finished the 2020 season with 18 TDS, 115 receptions, and 1,374 receiving yards in 14 games.
The Green Bay Packers also got 11 carries for 42 yards and a touchdown from Aaron Jones. Meanwhile, Chicago’s QB Mitchell Trubisky completed 33-of-42 for 252 yards with an interception for an 81.7 rating.
Meanwhile, the Bears’ RB David Montgomery had 22 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown. He also added nine catches for 63 yards.
