How to Bet on the Bills vs. Saints Match

Based on the teams’ past betting trends and all-time series matchup history, the Saints may continue to be the favorites.

However, in terms of total matches won in the 2020 NFL last season, including the postseason matches, the Bills may still have a chance to become the favorites.

There are several betting options for you if you are going to place your bets on the Bills vs. Saints match. These include:

Moneyline - These are the NFL odds based on a $100 bet. Negative odds like -110 mean you bet $110 to win $100. If the odds are positive, such as +120, you can earn $120 for every $100 you stake if your bet wins.

Point spread - This is the expected difference in scores between the teams.

Suppose the Indianapolis Colts have a -3.5 spread and the Baltimore Ravens have a +3.5 spread. To win your bet on the Colts, they have to win the match by 4 points or more.

Point total or over/under - This is the expected combined final scores of both teams.

For example, the oddsmaker set the O/U for the Washington Football Team vs. New York Giants match at 42. If the actual total score was 39 (19+20) and you bet under, you would win the bet.

Win totals - The total number of games a team is expected to win in one season, excluding offseason games such as playoff matches.

Suppose the win totals odds for the Dallas Cowboys were set at 10.5. If the actual number of games won by the team was only six and you bet under, you would win the bet.

Parlays or teasers - These are bets that combine two or more outcomes where each outcome must win for you to get a payout. If even one outcome loses, you lose the entire parlay.

Prop bets - This type of bet is based on an event or an individual’s or team’s performance. Some examples include:

  • Will Tom Brady become the next NFL season’s MVP?
  • Will the 2005 NFL Draft first-round pick Aaron Rodgers score the first touchdown in his next match?
