Brees passed for 220 yards and three TDs. The ground attack racked up 149 yards. After the matchup, the Saints ranked seventh in the NFL in total offense. 

The Saints’ defense also recorded three INTs (interceptions) and four sacks.

Miami Dolphins 

The New York Jets defeated the Dolphins 20-6 the previous week. Miami beat the Chargers 19-17 two weeks previously.

The Dolphins were losing 17-10 in the third quarter. Kicker Cody Parkey scored a 54-yard field goal with under one minute left in the game. 

The Dolphins rushed for 111 yards and won the time of possession with 33 minutes. QB Jay Cutler threw for 230 yards on 24 completions and one touchdown. 

Running back Jay Aiayi also ran for 122 yards on 28 carries.
